Disney Land Hong Kong

Hey! this time I am going to share my journey to Disney Land Hong Kong. It is the happiest place in the world.

It was on the 5th day that we went to Hong Kong Disney Land. I went there with my 2 cousins and my little sister. I was so happy and excited. with no more babbling, here are some pictures from Disney Land Hong Kong.

Hong Kong and Macau Journey

#Hey! This time I am going to tell a story of my journey to Macau and Hong Kong in 2013.

As an opening, I need to tell you this..Again and again we got a good deal flying with Singapore Airlines from Jakata to Hong Kong. The price was really shocking. Okay just let’s get started.

Day 1
Since I flew with SQ, we had to have a 1 hour transit at Singapore. It was short anyway. We had to move to another aircraft. It took around 4 hours from Singapore to Hong Kong. As soon as we arrived there, we didn’t go out from the airport. We went to a port or whatever the name. We purchased the ticket and sailed by a convenient ferry ship to Macau.

We have finally arrived in Macau. We took bus to our hotel, dropped our luggage and went straight away to The Venetian Macau. It was huge and sophisticated. It is a shopping mall that has the replica of Venice. The price in there was expensive.

Day 2
We woke up early and we went to Senado Square. It is like an old historical place I guess or maybe or actually true. It was a bit hot at that time. We went to St. Paul Ruin. To go there, we had to pass like shopping complex and well ya not so long walk to reach that place. After walking, we finally found the place. It was good actually.

In the afternoon we went to Macau Tower. We bought the ticket and we went around Macau Tower. I could see everything from the top. Running man was there to film their episode ( I mean in Macau as well) they have attractions outside Macau Tower Ring. I didn’t try it because First I am scared like crazy, second it is expensive.

At night we were walking around and the city was pretty. There are a lot of light. They said Macau is city of light and also there are so many casinos

Day 3
We sailed back to Hong Kong. We stayed in Kow Loon area. The area was always crowded. I could see a lot of shops from souvenirs, clothes and even make up store. The price in Hong Kong, to be honest, it is very cheap. If you want to go for branded bags with good price, you can go to City Gate.  If you start in the MTR, you take MTR and transfer to Tung Chung Station and then take Exit C. If I am not mistaken, this place is one station away from Disney Land Hong Kon g. If you want to shop here, please brace yourself. LOL

Day 4
It was Disney Land Time! I am going to share the story personally in other page. Stay tuned!

Day 5

On day 5, we were having sightseeing time around the city . One thing I don’t really like. It was hard for me to find Halal food in here, well or maybe because we didn’t try hard to find. So mostly we ate junk food. In the afternoon, we went to Ladies Market. It was a night market. It was heaven. There were so many cute stuffs from clothes, bags, shoes, phone case and whatever you want. In here, you have to bargain at least half of the price. Some of them would give the price that you wanted. I got phone case, shoes, clothes, bags and accessories. All of them were cute, cheap and well I could say with good quality.

Day 6
Today we woke up early again. We went to Ngong Ping Village. We rode a cable car to go here. There is a big Buddha and we have to climb up the steps. Too bad, at that time Hong Kong was surrounded by fog. So we literally couldn’t see anything. In the afternoot, we went to Avenue of Stars to see Bruce Lee statue and watched Laser Light Show.

Day 7

On day 7, we went to Madam Tussaud Hong Kong and The Peak Hong Kong. As far as I remembered. We purchased the ticket all together with the train back to the city. I could see many artists in wax version. After spending some time inside Madam Tussaud Hong Kong, we went to the Peak, but unfortunately, it was all covered with fog. Too bad. In the afternoon, we had sightseeing in Cause Way Bay. Cause Way Bay is another land ( I guess ) because I needed to cross the river with ferry to go to Cause Way Bay. Well there are a lot of shopping Centre with high end brand there. So I only walked around and enjoyed the scenery.

Day 8 go home

Yeay! It is time to go home. No matter how great other country is, my room is always be number one.

See you again in my next trip.

Malaysia and Singapore

Hey! Today I am going to share another journey to same/different place.

This time My whole family visited Singapore because we got another IDR 0,- from AirAsia. It was Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur cost IDR 0,- ; Kuala Lumpur to Singapore (I forgot how much the price) ; Singapore to Jakarta (I also didn’t know how much it cost).

Day  1
There were 12 of us going this time. It was a big family journey. We arrived at KLIA2 (before it was Low  Cost whatever the name airport). We took a bus from airport to KL sentral. From KL sentral we took train to go to Bukit Bintang and our hotel was somewhere near there.

We were walking around, having lunch and doing a little bit shopping. In the afternoon we went to Kuala Lumpur Tower and had a look inside.

Day 2
The whole family woke up early because we wanted to go to Batu Cave. Batu Cave is a place that has a giant gold Budha and it is like a temple I guess. It was so hot..too hot to remember. There is a huge gate in front. There are also a lot of steps to go up. My cousins, my sister and I decided to climb those stairs. It is high. On our way to the top, there were lots of monkeys. When we have arrived there, I could see statues and some scenery. I also remembered the smell of the cave. It was pretty smelly at time.

In the afternoon we visited Dataran Merdeka.

Day 3
We went to have sightseeing around the city. We went to Pasar Seni, Chinatown or Petaling Street if I am not mistaken.

Day 4
We went to Genting Island. From KL sentral we had to take a bus ride. It took around 2 hours if I am not mistaken. When we have arrived, we needed to ride a cable car. It was a bit foggy at that time. We were playing and also visiting snow world. We were so happy

I am inside the cable car 😛

Day 5
We have arrived in Singapore. We were just riding a giant wheel, Singapore Flyer. It was so huge. We got a chance, the 12 of us, got into one capsule. It was so pretty. I could see anything from there yet it was scary at the same time. After that we went to Clark quay to see sunset. It was so beautiful

Day 6
Finally after looong days, we went back home. No matter how great other country is or other places are..my home is always going to be the best.

See you again in the next journey.

Universal Studio Singapore

Hey!  I am back again..
I wanted to share my last holiday story with my family to Singapore in 2010. Now I went there with my  big Family. Yeay!! and we were visiting UNIVERSAL STUDIO. They have just opened a month ago and we got opening price. I am so happy!

Day 1.
We arrived at Changi International Airport. We flew again with AirAsia. And do you know what!! it was only Rp 0,- . There was a promo from AirAsia at that time. So we only needed to pay for Airport tax. The rest was ZERO.
This time I went here with my mum, my dad, my little sister, my grandma, my 4 cousins, my aunt and my uncle.
We stayed in a backpacker hostel which fit many of us and it was very cheap.

After dropping out luggage, we went to Orchard and walked around there.
These are some pictures of my family and I.

My cousins and I

Day 2.
Universal Studio!!
We woke up early today becasue we were so excited to go to Universal Studio Singapore. This time we took train to Sentosa Island.
The USS has just opened, so only few rides that we could play on.Too bad! and that’s why they gave cheaper  opening price at that time. but still. We were so happy.

Day 3.

It was raining and we went no where. Some of us decided to go somewhere else before going home but my Dad didn’t want it.
So my dad, my lil sis and my grand ma just straightly went to the airport.
And a big problem has started. We came late to the airport and we missed our flight. No more straight flight at that time and it was full because of holiday season. So we went to Batam with high speed very.We had to go to Harbour Front in order to get tickets to Batam by ship. It was a new experience for me. Sailing with high speed ship or boat or whatever.

Day 4 and 5.
We stayed in Batam only in the hotel and there was no camera and well yeah we had been looking for available tickets for 8 of us and finally we flew back home with Garuda Indonesia.

Well that was the first time I missed my flight.
See you in another journey.

Travel to Singapore

Hi Readers,

I am happy to say that, finally I write my own blog.
This is my first post and I really want to share my travel experience to everybody who is going to travel to Singapore.

This was my family visit to Singapore in 2009. Well it was not a whole member of my family. There were only me, my little sister and my dad. We (my sister and I) just tagged along with my dad. He had his office gathering to Singapore with his friend and we wanted to go as well.

We flew the there with AirAsia with their friendly tagline ‘Now Everyone Can Fly’

We were still too young to think about anything. Look at those luggage. Yap, too small but anyway, we were so happy.

Day 1.

We arrived at Changi International Airport Singapore. Walking along its huge airport. Look at us, twins T-shirt..Say no more

Changi International Airport Singapore

On the first day, we were walking around the city and sight-seeing. We went to Merlion Park to take pictures. We were about to take Singapore River Cruise but we didn’t. Again..too young to remember the reason. The weather was nice, not too hot and not too windy.

MRT Station

Merlion Park

On the second day, we woke up early because we wanted to go to someplace that is far away. We went to Haw Par Villa. At that time, we took buses to go there but now I just searched in the internet and it can be reached by using MRT and travel with yellow line. Haw Par Villa is a Chinese theme park. You have to pay nothing to go inside this theme park. This theme park has more than 1000 statues and 150 huge dioramas depicting Chinese mythology, the famous Journey to the West scenes and the scary 10 Courts of Hell. It was nice but to be honest… I was not really interested. In the afternoon we rode a cable car to go to Sentosa Island. We had to go to Harbour Front first if we wanted to go to Sentosa Island. They were building something big.. What that could be? Here are some pictures that I have.

On the third day, we were walking around the city. We went to Bugis Junction, Chinatown to buy souvenirs, Mustafa Centre to buy chocolate and Arab Street to see Sultan Mosque.

It’s me 😀

Sultan Mosque

On the fourth My dad and my sister and I went to Singapore Science Centre. We could see lots of science thingy or projects or even show. The only thing that I remembered, there was a giant dinosaur inside this building. We were walking around and ended up playing snow in Winter Wonderland. Too bad I didn’t bring camera because we were busy playing, throwing ice, and sledding.
